
Mick Rogers
Senior Principal Coastal Engineer
Mick has Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Engineering and has over 45 years’ experience in civil, coastal and ocean engineering projects in Australia, Pacific nations, and South East Asia.
He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, Chartered Professional Engineer and is currently a board member of the Institute of Public Works Engineers Foundation (WA).
Trent Hunt
Principal Coastal Engineer
Trent completed a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Western Australia and is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
Over the past two decades Trent has helped to deliver iconic coastal projects such Elizabeth Quay and the Port Coogee Marina.


Clint Doak
Principal Coastal Engineer
Clint holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Ocean Engineering from the University of Western Australia and is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Corporate Member of Engineers Australia. He is also a member of IPWEA Western Australia.
Clint has completed many complex projects in metropolitan and remote areas, including the Ocean Reef Marina, Spoilbank Marina and Albany Waterfront Marina.
Johnson Chen
Senior Coastal Engineer
Johnson has both Bachelor and Masters degrees in engineering and is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
Johnson has particular expertise in the design of maritime structures, having completed projects such as the Broome Town Beach Jetty and Rockingham Palm Beach Jetty.


Jake Costin
Senior Coastal Engineer
Jake completed his Bachelor of Engineering in 2011 with an Ocean Systems major and is a corporate member of Engineers Australia.
Jake has a wide range of experience across all facets of Coastal Engineering and has recently managed the delivery of several complex projects such as the Port Hedland Seawalls and Port Beach Sand nourishment.
Brendan Garvey
Experienced Coastal Engineer
Brendan has Bachelor and Masters’s Degrees in Engineering from the University of Queensland.
Since completing his studies in 2018, Brendan has developed extensive experience in Project Management, including property and facilities management.


Michael Peterson
Coastal Engineer
Michael completed a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Engineering Science and Marine Science, and a Master of Professional Engineering at the University of Western Australia. He is currently also completing a PhD at the University of Western Australia.
Michael has significant expertise in coastal modelling and the analysis and assessment of coastal processes and monitoring data.
Will Gardiner
Coastal Engineer
Will completed his Bachelor of Engineering degree at the Australian Maritime College in 2023.
Will is developing his experience across all aspects of coastal engineering, including the design and condition assessment of maritime structures.


Rose Borja
Senior Design Drafter
Rose completed an Advanced Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering in 2013. Rose has developed expertise in the design and drafting of coastal projects through working on a wide variety of coastal construction and modelling projects along the West Australian coastline.
Special expertise has been developed in the use of CAD and GIS software, quantity and cost estimation, and analysis of historical survey data and aerial photography.
